I walked from the Zariquigui to Uterga(7.3km). Talk about an adventure straight up and straight down! I don't care to see another rocky trail but I'm sure I'll see more as I go along. I saw more wind turbines then Don Quixote could imagine. However, no dragons in sight! I Slightly twisted my ankle and nursed it all night as I rented a room. I got a kick out of the tractor that was parked in front of the church!
The farmlands are beautiful with lots of hay, grapes and gardens all over. The grapes remind me of a book the fruits of the Vine By Bruce Wilkinson. Reminding me that we are judged by our fruits and our fruits can merely be a choice.
Day Three-best day yet
Walked through three towns today, Muruzabel, Obanos and arriving at Puente la Reina. Obanos was small town with the most beautiful plaza I had ever seen. Moving on to Puente la Reina I experienced a beautiful cathedral. Tonight I will stay at an Alberque, complete with a pool soaking my sore feet after walking 7.8km.
Go Tigers!
